If practical, some of
the winning entries will be exhibited at
the Warley show at the National
Exhibition Centre
in November. The
competition will be judged by
representatives of OnTracks and
CONTINENTAL MODELLER.
.
The organisers reserve the right not to
award any prizes if no entries are
deemed to
be of an adequate
standard. Employees of OnTracks, Peco
Publications, and associated companies
and their
families are not
eligible to compete. Illegible or
garbled entries may be disqualified.
The Judges’ decision is
final on all matters relating to the
competition, and no correspondence will
be entered
into. Entry to the
competition implies acceptance of these
rules.
If necessary, there may
be a second stage which would involve
either more detailed photographic
coverage
or inspecting the actual
models. Whether this requires the judges
to visit the model, or the entrant
sending or
delivering the
model to a nominated location or event,
will be determined later.
As any model deemed
worthy of progressing to the second
stage would by definition be of interest
and good
quality, it is
anticipated that the greater
photographic coverage would form the
basis of an article in
CONTINENTAL MODELLER,
for which the entrant would be
remunerated at standard rates.
Publication will not be
limited to the winners - all entries
stand a chance of being published.
The winners will be announced in the
December-dated issue of CONTINENTAL
MODELLER, published
November.
